How to measure
How to measure your space for a custom kitchen or closet
Learn to measure a wall with a tape measure (or laser) using the 3-point method: width and height, doors and windows from the outside of the frame, outlets and pipes.

Planning a kitchen, closet or custom piece? It all starts with a good measurement.
You only need three things: a pencil, paper and a tape measure. If you have a laser measure, you can use it too.
First, sketch the wall on paper, even roughly. That's where you'll write every measurement.
Now measure the width at three points: bottom, middle and top. Walls are rarely perfect. Write down all three and always use the smallest one.
Do the same for the height: floor to ceiling, on the left, center and right. Again, the smallest one rules.
For doors and windows, measure from the outside edge of the frame, not the inside. Also note how far it is from the corner.
Mark outlets, switches and pipes too, so we can design around them.
Have a laser? It works the same way. Rest it flat on the wall and measure from the same points.
Send us your measurements on WhatsApp and we'll take care of the rest.

Design your kitchen or closet in 3D, for free, from your phone or computer.
Open the designer on our website. First, enter your name, email and phone, so we can send you the quote.
Choose what you're designing: a kitchen or a closet.
Pick the shape of your space: straight, L, U or galley. If it's different, you can draw it by hand.
Now enter the measurements you took: the length of each wall and the ceiling height.
Add your doors and windows, so no cabinet ends up in front of them.
Choose the color of your cabinets and the type of handle.
Tap: let the program place the cabinets, and they arrange themselves. See how it looks in 3D.
When you're ready, tap: send for a quote. Our team reviews it and contacts you.
